Summer Reading

It is very important for you to continue reading throughout the summer when you have no demands from school homework. A sense of enjoyment in reading, so necessary for improving all reading skills, is more likely to come at this time. You should select books that particularly interest you. Books should be selected for both personal development and to increase reading proficiency. The following pages have many suggestions recommended by USM Middle School students and Mrs. E. Usually, only one book per author is listed, but you may wish to read some of the other titles by the same author. Most books listed are available in paperback and at school and public libraries.
I read a lot but during the summer I read constantly. The more relaxing days allow me to catch up on reading some of the titles I missed during the school year. I hope to use this blog to let you know about some of the great books I read throughout the summer.

I am hoping that you will use this blog to share some of your favorite reads. Have a great summer! Mrs. Eppelsheimer

I have not read Tara Duncan. I will add it to my list of books to read. I'll let you know once I read it. All I can say right now is that Sophie's name is even longer than Eppelsheimer!

Thanks for the suggestion! I hope you have a great summer, Hawoon. You definitly have many plans.
